GE Money Bank is the official sponsor of the Swiss Beach Soccer team and title sponsor of the GE Money Bank Beach Soccer Tour. Since 2006 GE Money Bank has been supporting this young up-and-coming sport, which originated on the long sweeping beaches of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and is now one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. In 2008, after the successful collaboration of the previous two years, GE Money Bank underlined its continued commitment to this creative and dynamic sport by extending its sponsorship agreement until 2010.

Since 2006, thanks to GE Money Bank's development program, the Swiss Beach Soccer Association has been able to award Dejan Stankovic, Stephan Meier, Angelo Schirinzi and Nico Jung semi-professional status and develop the best up-and-coming young players. In 2007, Dejan Stankovic was the top scorer in the European Beach Soccer League and has been named Europe's top player for the second year in succession (2007 and 2008). In the TV show "The Match", which was broadcast on Swiss TV channel SF2 between April and June 2008, Stephan Meier reinforced the celebrity team that took the field against a team of Swiss soccer legends.
