What kind of vehicles does GE Money Bank finance?
Whether for leasing or credit: We provide financing solutions for all car and/or motorcycle makes. With regard to new vehicles, we recommend Leasing. However, as far as used cars and motorcycles are concerned, both Cash Credit or Financing Plus represent ideal solutions.
How do I apply for financing and/or a leasing request?

In case you would like to purchase a new car, we can inform you beforehand of the maximum amount of leasing if desired. However, you normally apply when purchasing the vehicle.
What documents are necessary to apply?
You need a valid document of identification (ID or passport, or, if indicated, identity document for foreign nationals) and proof of your income (e.g. pay slips). During the consultation interview, further proofs, e.g. documents showing your housing, working and financial situation and/or preceding credits may be requested. Business clients are kindly asked to state their financial situation by means of appropriate documents.
What happens if I fall ill, have an accident or become unemployed?
In order to secure yourself against financial difficulties (e.g. due to accident, illness, disability or involuntary unemployment), we recommend taking out the optional Payment Protection Insurance offered by LIGHTHOUSE GENERAL INSURANCE*. You can get further information on this website or by calling 0844 840 841 (free of charge).
What kind of vehicle/car insurance do I have to take out?
During the lease term, you need a full accidental damage insurance for your vehicle. You can finance the premiums for the insurance by means of your lease agreement, which allows you to keep track of your monthly payments.
What happens after my lease agreement has expired?
During the lease term, you are granted the right to use the vehicle in question according to the leasing conditions agreed. The vehicle remains the property of the lease provider. After the lease agreement has expired, the lease provider normally returns the vehicle to the supplier (garage owner/car dealer) at the contractually agreed upon return value (corresponds to the amount stated in the lease agreement). The supplier can then sell the vehicle and therefore re-determine its price. Should you like to acquire the vehicle you leased after the agreement has expired, you have to contact the supplier.
What happens if I am not able to pay my instalments?
It is best to contact us directly so that we can find a solution together. Explain your situation to your customer adviser who will help you in a reliable and competent way. Under certain circumstances, the payment by instalments may be changed or another lease term can be agreed upon.
How do I know what expenses I will have to expect?
